Flutter adopted a pure exchange model that was embraced by Betfair. Flutter managed an approximate 30% market share but they decided to merge with Betfair by a reported ration of 84:16. The customer base that belonged to Flutter.com, was transferred to Betfair. Their system was upgraded and adopted functionality that belonged to Flutter.com. This helped Betfair to boost betting activity and expand in other markets also.
